960 Sterling Place

Brooklyn, NY 11213

960 Sterling Place is a landmark cooperative apartment building located at the intersection of Sterling Place and New York Avenue in the vibrant neighborhood of Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Designed by the renowned architect Jacob W. Sherman, our Colonial Revival-style building was constructed circa 1937. The six-story, 79-unit elevator building has remarkably well-preserved prewar details, including original apartment layouts, spacious rooms, inlaid hardwood floors, and a gracious lobby. In 2011, 960 Sterling Place was designated as part of the Crown Heights North II Historic District as part of an ongoing community-based effort to landmark and preserve the architectural character integrity of the neighborhood.

960 Sterling Place Owners Corp. is led by resident volunteers who care about making a positive impact on our building and greater community. Residents have the opportunity to get involved either through the board or as members of various committees and special projects. EBMG, our managing agent, handles the day-to-day building operations.
